Fish screen

Does anyone know where to purchase that thick black mesh screen like the ones that come with the CPR overflow to keep fish out or it comes it some brands of seaweed so you can fold the seaweed in it and them clip it to the glass?



I'm looking for a sheet of this stuff so I can cut it myself but searches with all the obvious words come up empty since I'm not sure exactly what it's called..

 

I use a shaped piece of eggcrate and ziptie to something nearby so it's snug.

hmm.. after looking it up, it does look like plastic gutter guard. I wonder If it really is the same stuff and if it's safe for aquarium use?

 

I have that exact stuff between the fuge and the return pump area, in the space the water runs through. So if what I have is gutter guard, then yeah, it's ok for the aquarium LOL. I have no idea if it's actually the same stuff or not, though. Any way to check on the CPR site or call them & find out exactly what it is or is called?

 

Well it looks pretty close... Only slight pattern difference so I'm guessing its all the same..

Here is the one that came with the CPR overflow that's made to be folded over and stuffed inside but I have some really small fish and if the went over that they would just be on top of that sucked up against it...
