Fish stocking question

Just got a new 46 gal bowfront. Dimensions are

36"L, 20"H, 12"deep at edges, and 16 1/2" at front curve.

I was thinking of putting a 3-4" deep sand bad, start off with about 25# of live rock because of money constraints, and make the rest.

I was wondering since all you guys and girls are so intelligent in the saltwater fish hobby, what some good mixes of fish are. I was thinking of adding a few blue chromis, a pygmy angel, a couple clowns, and a green clown goby, along with the additional inverts.

I would love to know what in this combination I have given would go good together, and if anything else would add to the community settings.

With limited biologoical filtration, only 25 lbs of rock you may be limited. Do you have a skimmer?

The general rule of thumb is 1" of adult fish per 5 gallons of water. More fish the more bilogical and mechanivcal filtration. Your tank can support 9" - 10" of adult fish. Your fish list will push that envelope.

 

ya I have a skimmer, not the best, but it will get the job done. Fish are going to go in slowly. Im in no hurry because of the money problem(can get around it tho) Anyway, I intend on making at least 50-60# of live rock, to cut down on spending.
