I have a 90 gallon reef tank with 2 yellow skunk clownfish, a royal gramma, 2 sleeper gobies, a yellow tang, a coral beauty, a bicolor blenny, and an algae blenny. I have about 110 pounds of live rock and about 50 pounds of live sand. There is a coralife protien skimmer and a coralife 18 watt UV. Does this tank sound fully stalked?

i would say so, the yellow tang can put off a lot of bio load

Sounds fairly stalked although you could probably get another 1-2 med fish in. I'll be curious to see what everyone else will say, but if there isnt anything you really want then i would stick with what you have now.

that could definently work, what were you thinking of getting rid of; do the two blennies get along?

The blennies are fine. I can't decide what to get rid of. I don't think I would have to get rid of much. Really, most of my fish are small fish that wont get much bigger and don't use much oxygen or have too big an impact on the bioload. I only have two fish that really have a large impact on the bioload, the tang and the coral beauty.

Yea thats why i said i think you would be safe getting 1-2 more, so in my opinion you could probably get the foxface, although it would be a little crowded and I would recommend that you strictly watch water paramaters for the first couple weeks.

I think that makes sense. My structure is very big and has a lot of unoccupied caves, so I don't think territory would be an issue once he learned what was available. I could always get more LR or decrease fish if I needed to.

You are fully stocked IMO. I adhere to the maximum of 1 inch/3 gallons of water. I would like to see 1"/5g in a reef tank. It makes for a comfortable environment. So if you are going to add another relatively large fish, you should trade in a couple to do it. Eventually, you will need more LR also. A 90g would need at least 150lbs of rock. Currently, I have 127# in mine and will get it to 160# or so before I stop. From here on out, add base rock. It will save you money and get rid of the unwanted hitchhikers. Don't worry, it will color up nicely in a few months. If your params are good the coraline will cover them pronto.

I personally dislike the inch of fish per gallon rule as one inch of one fish can have a very different impact than one inch of another. After further research i'm less interested in a foxface because of the reef safe risk and the fact that I already have a large yellow fish. Does anyone know of another medium sized fish other than a foxface, angel, or tang?
