So my tank contracted ich a few days ago and the medicine I got said that I needed a protein skimmer. I order one and got it today. I installed it but now my fish is super stressed out from it. Its a Domino damsel by the way. He is trying to hid under the rock with my Engineer Goby. Is that strange? He usually hides in his own home.
I also added a power head for some water flow (I had air bubbles before - noobish of me I know).
Should I take the protein skimmer out or watch them and see how things progress?
    Also, its a 10g tank
    Responses are greatly appreciated :)

I bought a rio nano skimmer.

I ended up catching my damsel in a net and am keeping the net in the water with the damsel in it. He seems to have calmed down and regained his color. Maybe he was over reacting?

I lied, he went back to being stressed. I noticed that there is a bunch of mircobubbles now too.
Was adding a protein skimmer and a powerhead both in the same day too stressful?
I dont know what to do D:

You can keep the protein skimmer on but the power head i would turn off. They need to regain power, not being tossed around by the power head. The protein skimmer will clean the water and lower ammonia so it will be a more clean environment for them. Usually with stress comes disease's so you are lucky for right now but i would keep an eye out for it.

Will a filter and protein skimmer be enough water flow for them to breath?

The powerhead is set on a really low setting, but if turning it off is better then I'll do that

Well if you see the fish having any struggle swimming because of the current then turn it off but if they don't then I would say they are fine. I have not seen your tank or fish so it is your decision to keep it on or off.

Its a 10g tank with a few pieces of live rock, hermit crabs, nassarius snails, a damsel and an engineer goby.
I just set the skimmer up today and I've read that it takes about 24 hours to "break in"
maybe he was just unhappy due to the change. The main reason i got it in was because the medicine i got said that a protein skimmer was needed.
