Sorry, I was to lazy to log on using my friend slow connction. One of the major problems of PBT is ssource. The holding in Sri Lanka, where most are exported from, can be quite dangerous due to crowding, disease and weather. FWIW, I've seen many healthy ones come and go, just by far not as many DOA/DAA ones I've seen or had reported back to me.

    Gresham,

Thanks for the info on the problems with the source.

From my point of view, as a simple and humble consumer :), I don't see the loses in shipping or the problems associated with different supply sources.

    I guess it's simply a matter or perception :)

    Gresham,
As John stated just being on the consumer side I don't have the opportunity to see what happens and what the problems are in shipping so I don't have the knowledge in that aspect. So If you can help educate me I would be very thankful. For instance is it just the powder blue that ship poorly or is it also the browns? ................. John

Well Unfortunately My new Lemon Peel has succumb to the stresses. I think?
He hid most of the time while in my tank, but was eating. I notice some red spots on his body on Sunday and started setting up my Q-Tank. But was gone on Monday. I'm not really sure what I did wrong, he wasn't being bullied had plenty of hiding places as well as swimming room. Water Q was very good.
I think I'll let the tank mature quite a bit more before I think of a new fish

BL My Tank has been cycled for about 4 months.
I have had little time to investigate as my Mother is in town for a week (lives on the other side of the country and only comes out ever couple of years)
The two Clowns and the Black cap Basselett are fine. All inverts are also fine. So I think he was just not happy in his new home. It's very sad as he was such a beautiful fish. I will have to slow down and find a better way of stabilizing the water evap and other stuff before I go forward again.
