you have any pics? hope you can make something soon, might want to take %50 of the water out to help with the pressure..

can u fix the old brace with exopy/fiberglass cloth?

Get a soft jawed clamp and brace it from further seperation untill you can find a way to properly fix it also wouldent hurt to ready a rubbermade tote to put everything in while the tank is being repaired

if you have access to them...milk crates are very light and strong. an excellent emergency fish tank stand!

+1 on Night Rider and WuWu from me
Id definitely want to have something now to get most of my water out and any live stock that would be high and dry

there is now pressure on the seams that was not there before
it could last ages or it could pop apart at any time

if you remove some water the gap will start to close again

then as WuWu suggests a large wooden clamp across the tank finger tight (dont put any pressure on the 2 points) in order to stop any further seperation would be a good idea

if you can take enough water out so that the gap meets up, you may then be able to brace the existing fixture with a new piece of plastic welded or glued over the existing brace

but to be honest, I would want a proffesional tank maker to advise on this aspect
or at least someone who has done this thing themselves before.
