what kind of crabs... a chocolate chip starfish may be able to help if the crabs are small enough?

A chocolate chip starfish will eat corals before crabs . . . their easier to catch. How big is your tank? You could try a harlequin tusk, or a zebra eel if the tank is big enough. also a big mantis might be a fun way of watching your crab population dwindle . . . but it would probably go after small fish eventually and would be a nightmare to remove.

    Get a Glass Fish

Just kidding. Put some meaty food in the bottom of a glass and lean it at a 45 degree angle against the rock. They will go into the glass to eat the food but won't get enough traction against the glass to get back out.

tried that for 3 days. no crabs fell for it. besides i have too many in my tank that are all over the place, dont think that'll be enough? it's a big pain espeically when ur tank is 30 inches high with a cover !

you can always treat the tank with interceptor, ie red bug treatment that will kill the crabs, but also any shrimp, pods, other crustaceans too

dont do that. i know this sounds dumb but a mantis shrimp would be a shure fire way to get them out. get the shrimp to another tank and let the mantis loose. if you get attached then setup a different tank later for him. also you may just want to try the glass bottle trick again. that seems to work for most people.
