    thanks for all the support guys, I appreciate it. I've been doing this for so long, I guess I was never expecting something like this to happen. If it had been during the daytime, I would have thought I might have a chance at saving some of the critters.
    I will be doing more water changes when I get home from work; I hope I can keep this from crashing the entire tank.
    Good advice for anyone would be to invest in a redundant system/quarantine set-up; I am in the process of remodeling my basement and I had to take mine down. If I would have caught this early enough and had a redundant set-up, I would have been able to prevent some of this.
    It's really discouraging, but I am not going to give up!
