fish turning pale at night

    hello at night when the lights are off , some of my fish turn pale. for example at night my scopas tang becomes almost all yellow and then when i turn my lights on it goes back to normal. my yellowtail damsel and pj cardinal do this to is this normal. all of my water parameters are perfect to. thanks any thoughts.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Totally normal, there is actually a term for tangs in that coloration.

    +1...more noticeable in some fish than others...some also get darker...I've seen blue damsels (yes I know devil fish) turn almost completely black at night or when stressed.
