    I could see me pissing in my tank my wife would think I lost my mind and wouldnt let me drink beer ever again

    its not a bad idea if you think about it, your just adding ammonia, its just like kick starting the cycle, a little boost, rofl

    you laugh but it worked. It was instant ammonia. He couldn't get ammonia to spike with the "shrimp method" which is what I recommend but he tested his water 10 minutes after whizzing in it (300 gallon tank) and it was phenominal.

    I personally started my cycle in my 29 gal with 40+ lbs of CURED live rock and it worked like a charm. I look at it this way: you're trying to keep happy fish, not stress them out with the cycling process.

    I think I will try the live rock method and leave it to the fish to use my tank as a toilet

    So should I order my live rock or do i need it tomorrow and so off to the lfs is there a time frame I need it or is it a.s.a.p

    The sooner you get it the sooner your tank will cycle. That's all up to you.

    Then that takes me to a new subject my lfs live rock is not up to par so were is the best place to order it from I looked but not sure what kind.
