This looks like a cool idea. :)

FishChoice.com is a new website for commercial seafood buyers looking for sustainable seafood products.

    http://www.fishchoice.com/

    How it works....

FishChoice adds to its database only those seafood products that meet or exceed the strict criteria set out by the environmental coummunity

Seafood suppliers and producers submit their products to FishChoice for inclusion on the site.

Buyers and suppliers connect to complete the sale of environmentally preferable seafood products.

Seafood buyers come to the FishChoice site looking for environmentally preferable seafood products

great post...one thing people might want to look for in a dealer is whether or not the fisherman go in federal waters. the feds have less stringent protection (and much higher quotas) than their state counterparts. for example, it is perfectly legal to gill net in the federal waters surrounding florida, but you wont get away with that in state waters. One great company is the Pandora Fish Co. in Stuart, Florida. A stones throw away from where I am right now, they use circle hook and line. commercial fisherman with circle hooks? that is enough for me.

I did not know about that. Sounds good to me too. There is obviously a lot to this. Thanks John.
