    kite fishing is were you tie the line off on a kit .. you can do the same with a balloon to when to fish hits the kite will release the string or balloon will pop or de-tatch .. pretty niffty if you dont have out riggers have fun sure you will catch something

    There's a lot of bait schooling around the reef right now. I've been seeing mackerel crashing pilchards, thread fin herring, and ballyhoo like crazy.

    Like Reefsparky mentioned the kingfish bite is starting up, plus wahoo and grouper are always around in the Fl Keys. Not to mention blackfin tuna, who eat pilchard's like candy.

    Winter is when things crankup because the water is colder, richer in plankton, therefore the baitfish follow.

    The telescoping poles that keep left and right baits out in the spread. You don't have to worry to much about that, your mate will be doing his job.

    Ok so here's what happened, to sum it up I caught a bonito (Spanish for beautiful) and I can imagine why then ate some beef jerky and threw up lol slow day for marlin and shark though :-[

    bonito are fun till they bleed all over the boat lol.. they can be a good fight though
