Which light should i get for my Biocube 29? it needs to support sps.

    Yeah, I've had one. It overheats, the paint melts...Its not worth the investment.

    I think Ive told you this exact same thing about five times on all your lighting threads. lol Yes, it might be a bit more expensive to invest initially, but even if you were to get the Fishneedit or Odyssea brand t5 lights it will be another 100 bucks to change the bulbs. Dont skimp on your lighting. The DIY leds produce hardly any heat. I wouldnt worry about it.

    ill see what i can do. I've got less than 3 months before i leave and about one month before the heat sets in.

    if i go with LEDs i think par30s would be better. that way i can take off the hood. I'm having pH problems and i think with the added evaporation it will add to the overall health of the tank.
