Which light should i get for my Biocube 29? it needs to support sps.

    Either will give you enough light to grow any coral. I would go with the t5s they will be easier to deal with and more customizable.

    I would agree, but only one company makes 18" bulbs and only 12000k and actinic are available.:/ but still, I'd like to have actinics for dawn/dusk. The MH can't do that. 6 bulbs should be plenty for Sps though. :D

    Agh, yeah that does make it more of a pain. You could always add a stunner strip later for dusk dawn with the mh

    Yeah that's what I was thinking. I would hate to shock my fish and corals with going from 175w of light to blackness instantly.

    That doesn't matter. Dusk dawn is for us more than the fish/corals. Dr sanjay doesn't have any actinic supplement and his tanks are some of the best in the world. From 400watt to darkness every day since inception!

    Yeah!! And all with MH. I'm nt sure about the quality of the nuvo bulbs so I think it's between Fishneedit and the Hamilton at this point. Decisions decisions.

    Just found out that they make a purple version of these bulbs.:D t5 it is! From back to front I'll do this with bulbs...
