What fixture should I get when I get some money

    The reflectors on all units are sub par at best. Go to Aquarium Lights Hellolights.com and look at their retrofit kits. Their bulbs are probably better than the ones you will get with any of the other units. You will also get far superior reflectors.

    I have the same Odyssea fixture that you are talking about. I have had it since April and although it does give off a fair deal of heat, I am very happy with it. For the price it is a great value. We all don't have $300-$500 for our aquarium lighting needs, so I would say give it a try.

    Yes, I am and with no complaints. My corals seem very happy under them, stock bulbs and all.

    ok cool im prob gonna get a phoneix right off the bat though

    what if I got a new reflector too and added fans

    That is a question that I am not qualified to answer, in other words, I have no idea. Throw it out to the board and I am sure that someone with more knowledge than myself (almost everyone here) will be able to point you in the right direction.
