    Does anybody have a t5 fixture by them? im lookin to get the 24 inch 4 bulb for my 10 gallon tank

    They are okay....Wouldn't buy one unless you had a really tight budget. They overheat A LOT I've burned myself multiple times on the fixture, and the plastic splash guard warps and will fall in your tank.

    what about the 70w metal halide fixtures they have any reviews?

    Very hot with not lots of cooling. Wy not just a PAR38 or an Ecoxotic Panorama?

    IDK i guess its worth it plus leds last longer should i get boost?

    Wow those sound dangerous.If you have a tight budget maybe use an odysea light or just keep checking craigslist.If you are gonna run corals make sure you get an ho fixture with reflectors on the bulbs.you will spend more money on a cheap light than to buy a good new one in most cases.

    I used a 24" 4 bulb on my old 10g and had no problems what so ever. The bulbs that come with it are junk but if you replace those its not to shabby for the price. Although it will cost you more in the long run then leds.

    I defintely vote for a boost par30 bulb with 60 degree optics.
