    Will pods in the fuge find there way to the DT? will they be held back by the bubble sponge? will the return pump kill them on there voyage to the DT? TIA

    It's supposed to be, I think it's more efficient that way.

    those pods produce alot of babies, the pump will kill some, but as soon as a couple make it to the DT...the will seed it...mine is set up this same way, i have them everywhere in the DT

    As long as you keep filter material above the bio balls they will be fine. Nice set up. Are you going to build something behind the tank to hide all the wires??

    All the wires are hidden in the canopy now, the only thing you can see now is the OF. When I decide to setup My next tank I'll have it drilled, and do many things differently than I did on this tank. But that wont be for a while.
