fixing live rock

    i had a small nano tank about a year ago and everything crashed. i was really mad back then so i just put the whole tank with water and live rock out in my yard. well the tank was left out all winter and the water froze and the rock was left in. so a week ago i dig the tank out of the snow because i am getting a new tank and i want to use the rock . how would i go about about making the rock safe for the new tank not live but safe.
