One of my lights in my fixture has been flickering and then just cut off. The fixture doesn't have a logo anywhere on it. It looks like an older coralife aqua pro. The attached photos are of what i think is a secondary ballast to one of the florescent lights. My fixture has 4 65 watt CF bulbs. There is a 2 pin quick connect on one side, for power i think and the other side is a 4 pin quick connect that leads to the light that isn't working. I would like to try to replace this part. Can anyone ID it and tell me where i could find something similar? It goes to a straight pin CF bulb. It is about 9 inches long by 1.5".

I would just replace the ballast... They are cheap enough and will save you the headache!!

Are you saying to order a new balast for all 4 lights? I think the thing in the photos above is a ballast? I still have 3 lights working fine. But i think i get what you're saying. Just order a new balast for 4 65w lights so i get all the parts and save myself the trouble right?

yeah, you can do it that way, but I would rather run 2 ballasts that run 2 bulbs each instead fro a back up.

Workhorse ballasts will do the trick for cheap, and can be used to run t5ho bulbs or VHO if needed.

I did a search for workhorse ballasts on google. The sites that show up are all ones i've never used. What would be a good trusted site to order from?

I have not used this place personally, but they seem to have good prices and appear to be safe.

IIRC, sunlight supply stocks WH ballasts, so any shop that sells SLS can get them, but they would be more $$ that way I'm sure.
