I have had a coral beauty in my tank for about 5 or so months who usually hangs out on one side of the tank. Today I put in a flame angle who can seem to find a quiet corner to get away from the coral b. I have a 240 so I figured there would be enough room for both of them but that coral b is determined. Any ideas on what to do? Im hoping they get there differences figured out soon.

Not really possible for me. My rocks are glued together in three sections. Good idea, I thought about that. I have some rock I can add.

Hunter always uses an isolation box for new wrasse additions. A plexi box big enough not to stress the old fish if you can get him. Might be the best option.

I can catch the FA but the CB is like a ninja. I figured If I took them both out for about 15 minutes or so then but them back in at the same type they would b alright but no dice.

THe idea is they can check each other out for a few days without be able to kill one another though the box. You could easily make one yourself with some scissors, a drill, and zipties. If you do make sure you have plenty of holes through out for water exchange.

Thread title changed. Please don't try to fool the profanity censor and try to remember that this is a family oriented site. Thanks.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You can try the mirror taped to the side of the tank trick to distract one of the Angels.

    Good luck.

I had the same thing happen but in reverse until the Flaming Angel eventually bullied my Coral Beauty to death it is a territorial thing.

That is why moving just some of the aqua-scape if possible is like a reset button for the reef everyone has to start over and find a home which helps continued battles since they are both in the Angel family...

    Good Luck
