Well that's a start but we are finding out some of these fish live 50 years or more.Unfortunately long term success stories IME are few and far between compared to the amount killed in less then a year.

I have had my flame angel for about 15 months now and seems fine. I feed a variety of mysis, brine, cyclops, cyclopeeze.

He was eating pellet food, and a mix of mysis and cyclopeeze. He was eating well. Oh well, I will look into getting something else down the road..

i swear mine gets fat off my kenya tree coral lol....had him for 6 months now and he's fat, dumb and happy still. Very active and has become fairly plump in size. I found out after getting him that they are hit or miss with survival. I agree with some people when they say that some fish should be left in their natural habitats. If mine decides to turn for the worse I will definitely not get another one to replace with.

Actually, that is an interesting theory. I have had my flame angel for a little over three years and my tank is full of kenya trees. I have never noticed him eating on them but that doesn't mean that he doesn't. He hangs out of sight most of the time.
