I recently got out of my 46 gallon tank my mean Oscellaris Clown so I am left with 1 Oscellaris, mandarin and a BiColor Blenny. Does anyone have a Fairy Wrasse and a Flame Angel in a small tank? I would love to try another Flame Angel or another Wrasse. I know I am safer with the Wrasse. I could do the Wrasse first and then get a Flame Angel? Still undecided

i dont know to much about wrasses or angels. but i think you would be better off with the wrasse because i have heard of angels turning on corals and such on the tank. i would have to say that the flame angles are *****en lookin and i have thought about buying one...

The safer and wiser choice would be to go with the Flasher or Fairy Wrasse in my opinion. They are easier to maintain and more hardy plus they are of no concern when it comes to other fish mates or corals!

I already have 3. 1 Oscellaris Clown, Mandarin and a BiColor Blenny. The 4th will be a Fairy Wrasse so I want suggestions on a 5th. That's all for the tank.

go with this for the wrasse Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Reef Aquariums: McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Male I have a carpenters wrasse which is similar but doesn't have the same bright color when flashing. If I had to do it over again I would go with the Mc Cosker!

As far as another type to recommend, I love the flame hawk. Have one in my tank with similar tank mates to what you have and it's a great addition plus doesn't grow too quickly like other fish.

Not all tangs are suseptable to ick, It worsens if stressed or sick. Kinda like the common cold virus, if your healthy, you will probably shake it off and not get sick even if you come in contact with the virus, but if your already ran down, then your gonna get it.

I have a yellow tang, that I have had for over a year, with no problem, and it is an awsome addition to a tank, lots of color, but to each their own.
