Hey, i'm starting up a 125g preditor tank and I have a couple questions- WOuld a flame angel be alright in a preditor tank? Meaning with snowflake eel, porcupine puffer and either a niger or humu humu trigger? As well as some type of large angel or tang as well?

Also I'm tring to decide what I want to add first? I want to start with something small and make sure the water is absolutely fine and stable enough to add a puffer or another larger fish. So would the flame angel be a good fish to start with? If not are there any other reccommendation of what I should start with? I'm thinking of getting something small that will eventually just get eaten when I get the snowflake eel. Any suggestions?

    Thanks Alot!!!!

I dont know if I would trust a puffer with a flame. I have seen pics of clowns with large chunks missing as a result of their puffer friends and a flame isn't much bigger. You might as well start with a damsel or 2 to make sure the water is OK . . . you wont have to worry about removing it later on as it will probably become lunch sooner or later in a pred tank.

Look into harlequin tusks, red corris wrasses and some of the smaller non-dwarf angels. also, try not to go too crazy on stocking, around 1" of fish per 3 gallons is as heavy as I like to go as long as good filtration and skimming is present.
