Hey all. I was at the LFS and saw a nice flame angel. I was wondering if he would be ok in my tank. I have a yellow tang, sleeper goby, royal gramma, and a false perc. Will my other fish and corals be ok??

i'd say the angel would do fine with the fish list mentioned above but you just have to be careful with angels in general around corals, they love to pick at everything. you may get lucky though and have an angel that doesn't bother anything...

they've been known to pick at sps, clams, lps and even softies once in a while.

I agree with Jonathan, Its hit and miss with dwarf angels and reef tanks. They could do fine for several months and all of a sudden develop an appetite for corals or clams. Thats how I got my flag fin angel and copperbanded bfy. Some one had them in their reef tank for a couple of years then they started to eat all his polyps and clams, so he traded them in at my LFS.
