Ok I think I figured it out. After losing the flame, and chromis I was searching the tank yesterday and didn't really notice anything until I turned off the white LED's. Under just the blue LED's I could see white spots along with a webbing type substance on the clown. it was pretty dominate under the blues. It didn't look like ich though. So searching on here I think its Marine velvet. I setup my quarantine tank and when and got some coppersafe.
I could see it really bad on one clown and a small amount on the female clown. I was able to catch them both and threw them in the Q tank. The male clown didn't make it over the night but the female seems strong. I can see this webing starting to detach from the clown. I am in the process of trying to catch the other chromis and firefish in order to q them.

I am thinking 4 weeks of q time with coppersafe then another couple of weeks without it. This way the DT will be over five weeks without it. I will also be doing several water changes on the DT.

    Questions:

    Does this process sound okay?

    Does marine velvet attack corals?
