Yellow Tang will graze on algae. Flame Hawk will not.

Yellow Tang requires much more space than a flame hawk, but flame hawks can be aggressive.

Flame Hawks are one of my favorites. They have a ton of personality and are just incredibly cool. The only issue is that they will take out smaller shrimp. I've never found them to be aggressive toward other fish.

Flame hawks are funny little fish. they tend to find a perch and watch the world go by. that said, they will not clean up nor will they eat algae. they will try to eat any fish or shrimp that will fit in their mouths.

Yellow tangs can be the Junkyard dog of the tank. they can be mean and aggressive. they will graze on some tank Macro algae (not hair), but are lean mean pooping machines. that said, I Love tangs in general. I have three that are hand fed and act like puppies. constantly wanting my attention and getting in the way of looking at the corals. my Sohal will even nibble on my fingers when I am working in the tank.
