Flame picking on brain

My lfs is lame and won't take him back nor let me trade him for frags, ive had him for a few months now - grrr

I've experienced the exact same thing with my flame angel and donut brains. I found a solution though...

When I had the brain out in the open, sitting on the sand bed - the flame noticed it more and picked at it regularly. So, I moved it to another location where it was sort of surrounded/protected on the sides by LR. It's hard to describe, but I rigged it so that the surface of the brain was flush with the rocks that surrounded it.

After making this change, the flame didn't notice it anymore and the brain began extending more and more each day. I left it like this for a while and then gradually began removing the small pieces of LR that surrounded it. This gave it more space to expand and by this point, the flame was used to it and left it alone.
