Do you run an open top? Some wrasse have a habit of carpet surfing, could be a sign of things to come.

i keep the tank covered with a mesh cover. i only take it off to feed or if im in the room. he likes to play at the water surface. so i like to uncover it as much as i can. but i dont want to lose him or any others so if im sleeping or not home the cover is on.

i seem to like the fish that are jumpers :( didnt think about that when i bought this tank.

thanks, his color seems to change with his moods :)

yes i try and keep him and the others safe and cover them when im not around.

Weird. The only fish I had that I found laying upside down on the sand was dead.:(

he has such a crazy personality. when i seen him at the store i thought oh he is so pretty but didnt want to spend the money he cost. he was so friendly even at the store. i went back 3 days in a row to see him. last day i told them to bag him up fast before i change my mind. having him has been very cool and i wouldnt give him up for 10 times what he cost. he is one of those rare fish with such a personality that wants to interact with you, that your lucky enough to come across once in a great while.
