    Sounds like the Oceans Motions Omni Flex nozzle?

    Interesting in that it's sort of tailored to plumbing that's coming in from above the tank, but for most purposes I'm not sure you'll get any more out of them than you would a typical Loc Line installation. There're *a lot* more installation options with Loc Line...if that's of value. :)

    i have flared right at the surface of the water so they break up surface tension and when i turn off my pump my tank only drains a tiny bit..

    The flared does not restrict the flow, quite the opposite in fact. They have more surface opening so they restrict less but with the increased opening they reduce the velocity so it appears to have less flow.

    Hmm,I had always thought the flared restricted it a bit? What about a spray bar doesn't Luna have one on his tank?

    You would have to add up the total surface area of all the holes to see if they equal an unobstructed opon pipe, that plus a small bit of head since the water has to change directions to exit the spray bar holes.
