after many months of trying to get these GD flatworms under control i am ready to say the hell w/siphioning them up iam going to use the flatworm exit .i cant locate any blue velvet nudis or i would probaly not be writing this, my tank upstairs had them and they were taken care of by my yellow wrasse along with a large population of mini starfish that he aquired a taste for. my questions are will the flatworm exit kill or effect my pod population? should i remove the tiger cucumber? i talked to tangster who gave some good feedback months ago but i am so paranoid about nukeing my tank any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated thanks!the tank is a 40 gal w/frogspawn,hammer,galexa,bubble,tons of mushrooms, leathers ect 1clown 1 tang i jawfish pistol shrimp and watchman gobie couple of crabs & 2 fire shrimp

its safe.i used it in 2 tanks without killing anything else.just do a big water change after.i lowere my water before so theres less to treat then do a very big water change.if put to much in it will stun bristle worms and starfish though.i used alot to do that and then i siphoned the stunned bristle worms and dead flat worms off the sand.

I have used it and its works great and nothing was harmed.I recommend you use allot of carbon after using it though. I filled a magnum canister filter and ran it on my tanks for 2 days after using it.

Although someone once told me if you just let them alone their numbers will grow then peak and they will die off and go away which I also found to be very true. I had them in my 55 sea horse tank, got them from using the same algae scrubber in two tank.

I did not want to treat that tank since it had my seahorses in it so I tried letting them go even though it was hard and guess what, there was a time when I had what looked like thousands and a few weeks later I haven't see one single worm!
