Heya guys. I have finally found an awesome deal on a 90 gallon. Since my previous tank has been doing quite well, I decided to make an upgrade since my current tank is a bit...messy. Got a nice used 90 gallon with oak canopy and stand. Has a built in overflow already and will update with pics soon! =D.

This is great Flazky. Things do get better with a larger tank. Temperature and water parameters are more stable. Of course you can get more corals and fish. The canopy is good. What type of lights do you have or are going to get? Any plans for a sump or sump/fuge? Get some pics and we can help you out. Good luck.:)

Pics are up! As for lighting, I am still debating what to do =T. I am wondering, if MH are really worth it. The only thing that I might be after is the shimmering effect but that should be able to be done with a strong white led. I "inherited" XD some live rock from my friend but they were kept in bins without a heater or power head. I decided to just stick em in and just let em cure since I got tons of time right now anyways. I am also wondering how strong of a return do I need. I have a 1 inch durso standpipe for intake to sump. Anyhow here are the pics!

haha one of the main reasons I upgraded, was because my smaller tank's stand (table with a wooden board over it...lol) looks VERY unsturdy...haha...

Actually, does anyone know how to aquascape properly? I was working on my aquascaping for almost 2 hours....and the next day my gf tells me "Did you just pour the rock in there?" @_@.........sigh...I have really bad artistic skills...any ideas on how I can make it more...intricate?

search lots of tank pictures to get ideas. you definitely want to allow for good flow around the rock to keep detritus from setting. also, little caves are really recommended for fish/critters to hide and sleep in.

I'm sure others can chime in with more specific info.
