My cat brought these little bundles of joy in and they are taking over,we booted the cat,but i know i can't bomb, between 3 tanks and a 7 month old baby,it's just not feasible.Does anyone have any alternative ways to treat for them as i'm getting eatin alive!!(luckily,i'm the only one they pick on,my wife and 2 sons don't get bit.So i guess you can say i'm taking all the weight of the problem, taking one for the team.) But don't want to use posions cause of the baby and the tanks.:confused::confused:

I second this. I use advantix though because advantage does nothing for ticks.

We found an all natural flea remedy at Petco. It's made by Sentry and called "Natural Defense" - kills fleas, beetles and spiders and is safe to use around children, pets, FISH and food.

    It actually works pretty good.

That sounds like a good idea,we usually keep her treated with advantage, but she had kittens and we couldn't treat her,but the kittens are gone now,but that sounds like it could work.Great idea! Thanks!!

fleas don't like humans we are too clean and hairless for them as long as the source has been eliminated they will just die off, also if you are seeing lots of fleas then the cycle is almost over. as long as they have no host to lay the eggs on you are in the clear.

If you gotta bring the cat back in...go with treating the cat with the medicated stuff and use the all natural stuff for the house. Good luck!

Well, now that you say that, they are slowing down a little bit,and the cats been out for a week,so if there not hosting and feeding, they would almost have to stop reproducing.Makes perfect sense. And even better yet, cause i really don't want the cat back in(I like cats, just not this one! LOL)I've also been vacuuming alot and emptying the canister alot, but i read the sound and vibration stimulates eggs and causes them to hatch!Oh i hate em!Thanks Crappy!
