So I found three dead Flies in my sump today, specificly in the fuge area. Don't ask how they ended up there, cause I really don't know. I have not seen a fly in my condo since. Question is, will this effect my system? Not really sure. I would guess no because they are so small.

No, not at all. During the summer I half to run a fan in my window into room otherwise my tank gets to hot, and the flies find there way into my room from the window. And I half to pull two or three flies out a day because they burn themselves on the halides and fall in the water. It wont do anything, just kinda gross to find the flies in the tank :-/
