    Since I set up my 25gal tank 3months I had be using a old Bio Life 55. # weeks ago I decided to switch over since the Bio is now obsolete and hard to get parts. I bought a Fluval 250 canister and it has been running for 2 weeks. When will it be safe for me to take out the BioLife,

    Anytime now would be fine I figure, if the canister has been going for over 2 weeks.8)

    You were good 2 weeks ago. Biggest "filter" in your tank should be live rock any who. anything else is just a bonus.
