I just can not figure these float switches out.. has me pulling out my hair what I have left lol. I'm trying to add two in the sump for low water and high water.
One switch would work and the other would not then I would switch out the non working switch for another and still not working and also I switch wires to different virtual switches I've made but still nothing. I dunno...what I'm doing wrong.. Any insight on this? Would help 10 fold.

I have mine set up that way. If you have the ATO then you have to set it to mode B. Then it will work.

One switch will be slightly higher than the other. Switch 1 being the max height and switch 2 being the lowest point. If you have the ATO brand itself on the side there is a switch that says A and B mode. In order for it to work it has to be in the B mode.

Is it possible the floats are configured as either normally open or normally closed, and so you may need to mount the float upside down? I don't have an Apex, so can't offer any help there.

^+1 to that. Or take the clip off and flip the float if needed. You'll want both to work such that nothing bad will happen if either is open, as that's what could happen if one of them "breaks". So the lower should be normally open, and the upper normally closed.

I have two float switches on my Apex to do my ATO; you can view my code on Reeftronics. We can get you through this! :)
