I'm so glad to hear that your grandmother will be getting some help! That's what's most important!

 

No more pics tonight, had a 14.5 hour day at work and I'm pooped!! I'll try to post some tomorrow. Thanks AM, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'll be posting pics of the remodel as we go.

 

I just caught up with this bmshehan... My mom's been getting pics from my cousin who as you've probably read from otty's post lives in hope... I still can't believe the damage... My heart goes out to you guys. My cousin lives on 900north...

 

Ya, 900 was smoked. I haven't driven out there yet, figured they had enough "gawkers" the way it is. Your cousins were fine, right? They way I understood it no houses got hit on 900.

Ogle, I took these pics Sunday morning before Jimmy's, woke up about 7 with Shep the bum sleeping on the couch, some bs about not being able to get to his house LOL!!;D

 

Their up high on some hill.. Haven't been there in a long time.. Above some big old white house looking thing..

 

As of Monday this week they were getting ready to lay asphalt by the damn at Schaefer Lake as I stopped by there on the way home from work. Had to be in Columubs today for the dentist and still there is stuff piled up everywhere and businesses still not open.

Now I remember..... The lakes below their house... Like I said, I haven't been therein a long time,since my grandma's funeral in 2004....

 

You know what I find funny about all of this? None of the "farmboys" around here are complaining about the government not helping or where's FEMA? Our communities pulled together and WE got the work done. None of this sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves hoping someone will show up and do the work.

 

Although I agree with you, I'd prefer that we not go down this path or it's bound to become political
