Nude sun bathing not illegal at Haulover Beach !!!;D;D;D also stealing Lobster from someone's lobster trap , you will be shot !!!!

sand of the beach is bagged for hurricanes. people take sand home all the time. I have taken five gallon buckets at a time for the sandbox in the back yard in a previous house. Never used for the tank due too pollutants in the sand on the shore. Remember that dogs play on the beach as well as kids, many jet skis, boats etc spewing fuel in the water. it would have to be washed very well before you can use it in a tank. it take much more effort that just buying a bag.

 

i have keys sand a friend of mine gave me and iv had no problems with it yet. its a great sand in that is has some small cc and fine sand but it dont cloud the water when your working in the tank. just be carefull getting any cause i know its protected and you cant harvest any.

 

i have sand from the inlet here on hupoluxo island and no problems except it looks ugly
