    Thanks all!

So, since I first started this thread I since ruled out the florida rock and will be purchasing my rock from BRS.....but I am now torn between the pukani and the reef saver rock. Pics would be awsome and apreciated!

The demo BRS has on their website showing off their reef saver rock is very impressive and seems so easy to aqua scape with. Of course they could easily be hand selected pieces, even though they pont out its not. Feedback would be great.

heh i too was just debating the choice of base rock for my 75g build. that pukani rock from BRS seems highly recommended from both 3reef.com and other sites i found from a quick google search. i intend to use it, and now im trying to figure out how much of it to use, and how much fiji live rock to put ontop of it

I'll give it a shot lad. How about say about 30-35# at your base (the heavier stuff) & right about 30# of the Pukani on top? 30# Pukani is alot, you'll see.
Set your base down now or first (if you have it), then you can eye how you wanna scape with the Pukani last.
Reason is, I couldn't believe how much 30#'s really was(Pukani). You'll probably have a few #'s of it left over. Put it aside or throw it in your sump.

The reef saver is the small group in the upper right. Notice the 30lbs of Pukani is almost double the volume of thhe 40lbs of Reef Saver. ;D

I will email more detailed pics if U think it will help.
