Flourite very cloudy water????? Urgent

    My tank is very cloudy from the flourite!!! i have it planted and it has fish. Will the flourite hurt the fish, and how do i get rid of it????? If i turn of the filter for a while will that let the dust settle? my filter does 175 gph, its been 2 hours since i added it, and still can't see the back of the tank
