    Is a Jebao WP-25 (about 2100 gph) and a 1000 gph return pump from my sump enough flow for my upcoming 90 mixed reef?
    Or should I go with a WP-40 which is about 3000 gph

    let me know your opinions
    Thanks:)

    I would do a 40 or 2 25s. I have a 55G and I am running 2 25s. When I setup my 150G I am planning on a 40 and a 25.

    Don't forget about the head lost on the return pump. Depending on what pump and height of your return, you probably looking ~800 gph. Another variable is is livestock (some require more flow than others). With your return pump, you will be fine with a WP-25. It'll still put you over 20x turnover at the middle setting w/ the return pump. Plus, there's a HUGE size difference between the two. IMO, the WP-40 will be an eye sore.

    I would start with one WP25. They are beasts.

    I too question that you will be able to use this much flow from your return pump.I think two wp25s would be a good choice for powerheads in a 90g mixed reef.You would be able to have good random flow in much of the tank and still have areas of lower flow.
