I am moving up again and this time it's from my 120 gal to a 210 gal tank 72x24x29 and I'm curious about the flow rate for the tank. I have a Magdrive 1200gph sump pump that I split between overflows and I use 2 Koralia 4's which are 1200gph each and also 2 Koralia 2's that are 600gph each. Would this be sufficient flow for my new tank?

It would really depend on what you plan to keep. SPS require a lot more flow while softies require less

If you want a mixed system I would still say you need more flow.

Wow that was fast! Welcome to my world of trying to figure out how to get everything up and running right. I know closed loop would be more $$$$$ for you but it seems to be the best option due to the fact you can easily turn the flow up or down unlike power heads.

    Just my own thoughts.

Thanks Michael, I knew I could depend on you. This is going to be easier than before as I'm putting the new tank on the other wall.

Softies are the game plan, I'm not big on SPS corals.

I'm leaning towards the R & J Aquatics Extreme stand and canopy. This is nice in a medium wood color ( red oak I think ) and the price is right! Only $700 at the Barrier Reef in Boca Raton. The jury is still out as I might just get the generic pine wood and paint it black. They both have their advantages and drawbacks but both are resonable in price. The Extreme has a much nicer look with large door openings and 36" height. The canopy has 4 doors with two huge openings that I can get all the way into with a half lid. It's just very high at 15" which could pose a problem in an emergency situation but I think I can live with it. I'll keep you all posted. I'll take a picture off it next time I'm there.
