What flow rates are good for green hairy mushroom corals and finger leathers? I currently have them under moderate-strong flow, and am not sure whether they are liking it or now (too new to know).

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

I have my fuzzies in low flow and they love it. My devil's hand liked moderate flow.

Hairy mushrooms, watch them, if they expand fully and lift off the rock a little then they are in good flow
if they tend to stay firmly on the rock and dont stretch , this can be a sign that the flow is a little strong and they are hanging on for fear of being washed away

leathers, I have one that is being positively buffeted by a K clone (sun sun brand, 3000 ltrs per hour Id buy the genuine article, honestly 3 reef sponsor, if I had found it here)

it loves it there to be honest, I was worried it was to much flow so moved it and it did not open as much as it had at previous location, I put it back and it looks great again now

so low flow for the shrooms and moderate for the leather (although mine seems to prefer high)
