Koralias are terrible. They do nothing compared to vortech. I had 4 1400s or 1450s w.e they were on a wave maker. They would click very loudly when they changed scaring all my fish. And 4 of them did not compare 2 two vortech mp10s no way. Everyone starts out with koralias for the price. Then realizes they are junk and gets a vortech.

    That is one opinion.
I have been perfectly happy with my Evolutions, not Koralias. They are silent and have over 3 MILLION starts and stops on them so far. My two friends who have MP's on the other hand have bearing problems, noise, the faceplate fell off one controller and both are not happy. To each his own.

I have never once noticed fish react to the clicking. I have 10 Koralias between 3 tanks, all on wavemakers. I think that is more of a myth. You can certainly argue the flow difference, and there is no question in my mind that if you can afford two wireless Vortechs, then that could very well be the way to go. For people just starting out, a couple Koralias on a wavemaker or controller should do just fine.
