    Anymore, my suggestions for flow rate are at least 50x. There are reef tanks here on the forum that boast an 80x turnover rate. I would do it a little at a time though. The corals will love it immediately, but the fish tend to stress a bit. So if you buy two PHs, put one in for a week, then introduce the other.

    Well I don't have any fish in, I'm still cycling. Thanks for the suggestion. With the K1 and the stock pump I have a 33 GPH turnover...and I haven't added my skimmer...will that also, assist?

    I may consider adding another like you said in the future. :)

    problem with that much turnover in a nano is it blows stuff everywhere, I had to play with the positioning on my K1 to keep my sand from getting moved away from the front of the tank constantly anymore flow in a 24g I dont think it'd be possible to keep fish in

    Thanks Iraf, I will leave it as is...thanks for the suggestion for placement...it seems to be working quite effectively.
