I currently have a dual overflow 120G tank. Just purchased Two Koralia 1400's and I plan to add them next week when the shipment arrives. I just wanted to get some suggestions on where to place them and how to angle them. Do you guys think two is enough? On with the scenarios...

    First - Position?:
Position the two Koralias on the inside or outside, as highlighted by the two different color x's:

    Second - Angle?

There are several different angles I can use to send flow through the tank. remember that I have two returns that are blowing pretty hard towards the center of the tank in the middle. I will use the same colors to match the position (the streaks toward the glass are meaning straight out flow):

Sorry for the way the pictures look, I did this in paint! Any help would be appreciated!

my preference would be for the 2 wavemakers in positions marked by red Xs

with one pointing slightly upwards, and aimed just past the centre point on front tank galss
the other one angled directly outwards and aimed just beyond centre point on front glass

this would give reasonable flow around the tank
    good surface movement

and an area of randomised flow, where the 2 wavemakers cross over , front and centre of the reef, that will cause turbulance and thus chaotic flow either side

so a randomized flow is better? I see how that works now! Do you think those two will be enough?

if your aim is to keep a tank with soft corals, those 2 plus the flow from the return will be adequate IME

if you wanted to keep SPS, at some time in the future, you may need to increase flow

I think they would be a good option
1400s x 2 would give you 2800 GPH of water movement
in a 120 , its over 23 x water movement which is pretty good in a softie reef IME plus you add the water from your return and see where that takes you

Ive been over 40 x with softies (leathers, toadstools, polyps etc) and LPS ( Hammer, Torch, Elegance ) without any negative reactions from corals and depending on placement, I have a torch and other LPS , brains, acans, etc in a set up with over 70 x tank volume in water movement at present
