Flower Pot Feeding question

    yesterday i bought a flower pot, i dont know its scientific name but i call it my 24 polyp neon yellow flowerpot cause that's exactly it, almost looks fake

    my question if i cant get ahold of phytoplankton is silversides or frozen mysis ok to feed it, i also have a carnation that i will need to feed as well

    When I had mine I was recommended Oyster Feast. I can't really say if it worked or not though lol It's a good all around food though from what I understand.

    Goniopora, it's beautiful if you can keep it past 6-10 months, they're hit or miss. I had mine for about 5 months but had to sell it as it was being hosted by my Ocellaris and wasn't happy.

    ok ill have to hope that petco or petsmart has it i cant get to the lfs for another two weeks and i dont have the money to order food online

    I doubt they'll carry it unless it's one of the ones with a better saltwater selection. You'll hate buying it..it's like 20 bucks for a few ounces. It doesn't take much though.

    yours is gorgeous, mine hasnt fully opened the most its opened is the one in my avatar, but now its shorter but more tubes are out

    this one has very short tubes reminds me of daisy's it almost looks fake its so bright my camera sucks so the pic in my avatar isint the true color

    i cant find one online that looks like mine though

    ill probably have to order it online then and find a place that has really cheap shipping would one bottle be able to support both the flower pot and the carnation

    Yeah definitely. You can just add it to your entire tank. Everything will get some. Even though my goniopora is gone I still add it every now and then for my gorgonians. You can spot feed though if you want to.

    ok i get paid this week so ill be able to pay off my credit card some so hopefully they can wait a bit

    also where do you guys have yours placed

    i originally had it in a cave when i first got it i had my vortech mp20 on reefcrest and i also have a evo 1050 it was very tall and almost fully open lke my pic, after some reading i pushed the cave back and switched the MP to lagoon mode now its somewhat open but nothing like how it was yesterday

    mine was placed all the way at the bottom on my sandbed. I actually have only 260w of PC lighting, for shame :(, but it was always doing great. It was in a 55g also.
