Fluffy staff

I got tons of it growing in my tank someone in another forum told me it was red dictyota but it doesnt look like it.
this was on my LR.

I tried blackout for 3 days but it still grows.

 

^yes your looks like Dictyota too. Manual removal and then starve it out.

Yep. It looks the same. Does it waving with the flow? It grows only on one small rock. I should take out that rock...

 

Yup it sway abit as right now it is still quite short. It start to grow on a few rocks of my. They are quite beautiful under blue light. But seems like it not really harmful but some people felt they are nuisance algae.

I think I got it. My wife send me a pick of some guy's tank in North Carolina . Staff looks exactly the same. He's so proud of that staff... Title says Red Sea Lettuce. This is my pick again week later. It doubles again. Pretty nice though. .. Do you guys know anything about that lettuce? Thanks.
