fluorescent coraline on a rock???

I had a rock with a few pieces of coraline on it. I placed it into the sandbed two weeks ago. Today when i was moving stuff around, I saw the rock and I saw the coraline had turned a vibrant orange! You guys ever heard of this?

 

read about it but never seen it. Hint hint

 

I have small specks of bright orange coraline. The only time I've seen coraline actually change colors is when you kill it. It will turn a flourescent pink then fade out.

 

here ill go take a pic of it... this stuff is cool!!! it is either dieing from being buried in the sand bed or else its legit orange. but pics coming in 5 min

 

5 min is almost up. and i have some on my rock too.

 

I want to see this too! It just came on some rock or did you grow it?

I have had the same thing and I thought something had fallen in the tank? Guess not, hmmm weird. I actually have a little patch that appears from time to time.
