looks really nice! I'm always impressed when people construct all of these things themselves!

Finishing touches are happening as I type. Mocked up the plumbing. Ordered my skimmer, Reef Octopus Prime-200INT. Picked up a Waveline DC-10000 pump from my LFS during a "mega sale" yesterday. Grabbed a Vortech MP10W ES with a gift card last week, so I'll be running 3 MP10's on the 120 for now. I may add another. I'm still waiting on a couple of misc. plumbing parts to arrive, and my skimmer to ship so I can finally get this wet. Hoping for next weekend.

    Brilliant!
I went with a 6ft' long C2C overflow on my 180 build. Currently it does take up 4" of the back of the top- but I have no outer box either atm. water/fow tested and it worked excellent.

Love your build and design- simply brilliant.

Awesome build! I have a suggestion. I am friends with Rick at Synergy reef. He designed the ghost with Felix and you should put a small piece of acrylic as a brace on it. It will bow if you don't. He's been doing this on all of the new ones.

Where are you suggesting I add a brace? On the interior box or the exterior? The exterior cannot bow as it is butted up against my wall. The interior box could I suppose, but it has a cover on it, running coast to coast, so it has support front to back. I finally got this wet last weekend, and it has been running for 7 days! Everything turned out great...with the exception of the skimmer. The skimmer I had ordered had a delay in shipping, and will not be introduced until mid-July. So I ordered a Bubble Blaster pump and custom plumbed it to my existing skimmer body. I added 7 Reef Chromis last week. A local store has a gorgeous Richmond Wrasse and I am seriously contemplating grabbing it. That's it for now. SPS and such to be added in the coming months.

I will have pics up early in the week, or possibly next weekend. Work has been stupid busy, and I just want to lay back with a beer and do absolutely nothing!

I was referring to the exterior, but since its up against the wall it shouldnt be an issue.

    Looking forward to more updates.

I recently got a new phone (HTC M8), and the camera is stupid nice! Unfortunately, I can't get the white balance to balance worth a damn. So these are with my point and shoot! :p
