Thanks Hunter! They had two of them, and this one was much more vibrant, but slightly larger.

Thanks! The sand is a great contrast to the rest of the tank. I also painted the back wall black, and used black acrylic on the overflow. Colors should pop once I get some corals back in this thing! The Potter's colors jump out. I've never seen one with so much light to dark contrast before.

Thanks John! You need to come out and snap some pics for me!

Tank looks great. I like the shelf/overhangs. How did you secure them?

Wow, that's a seriously nice build. The colors are crazy with the sand.

Loving this Tank FOD. Everything looks great, custom overflow is perfect. And I love that Potters too. One of my all time favs.

Can't wait to see this fully stocked. Colors are gonna be ridiculous!

Awesome tank! I also have the Marineland 120 gallon except mine is with the corner overflow. The dimensions of the 120 is one of my favorites! That potters is really cool and i would love one for my tank as well, but putting one in an SPS tank kinda scares me.

Thanks! All rock came from Marco Rocks. Very awesome to deal with and sent me dimensional sizes I asked for.

3/8" threaded rod and nuts. You can see one sticking up on the rock on the right at the top.

    Thanks!

Going to take a while to get it stocked again. Too many other projects going right now, ya know?!

I have kept this Potter's in a SPS dominant tank for over a year, and he has never nipped at anything. I've read they are one of the least likely pygmy's to do so, but each fish has it's own mind. I had ordered the Vertex Omega 150...it was backordered for 2 months. So, I switched to the new Coralvue Prime-250 skimmer (copy of the Vertex, with a better pump). It was supposed to ship in late April...and has since been pushed back to July sometime. So I just went, at CoralVue's advice with the Bubble Blaster HY-2000 pump. They say it pulls more air than any of the skimmers I was looking at anyway. It is dead silent too!

download the app "snapseed" on your phone. Take your pics and then adjust them in there. It really works well. I typically adjust the temp, saturation, and brightness.

Tank looks awesome. I think you would be okay to add the mystery and try and see how it does with what you have in there already. Always make the wife happy when you can.

Well damn. It has been 3 months since I have updated. Nothing terribly big to speak of. I have started to stock some corals. I just bought a new light and will be changing that upon its arrival. Things that have occurred since 6/2/14:

    FISH
Additions: Yellow Tang, Blue Spot Jawfish.
Subtractions: Red Saddled Anthias, McCosker's Wrasse

    CORAL
Additions: Multiple Chalice's, Red Planet Mini Colony, Monti Setosa, Superman Monti, Blue Polyp Monti Danae, Undata, Cali Tort, Armour of God Paly's, WWC Leptastrea, Golden Torch.

    LIGHT
Switching from 2x250W Radium MH with LED supplements to an 8 Lamp Dimmable ATI T5HO Fixture with 28 CREE LED's as actinic supplement. Going from 600W to 350W, expecting similar, or possibly greater PAR numbers.
Plan for lamps is as follows:
    Front to Back
    -ATI Blue+
    -ATI Coral Plus
    -ATI Blue+
-84W of Cree LED's ramping up sunrise to sunset with ReefKeeper Elite.
    -UV Lighting Super Actinic
    -KZ Fiji Purple
    -Giesemann Lagoon Blue
    -ATI Blue+

    FLOW
Added More MP10W ES pumps. Tried the Jebao's out for about a week and that was long enough to realize they are not in the same league as Vortech's. Very narrow flow (a lot of it though), limited control, even with the new dual controller, and soooo much bigger than the MP10's.

    FILTRATION
No changes here. Still running EcoBak pellets. I had a Cyano issue, but fixed it with KZ Coral Snow (ZeoVit product), and water changes. My Fuge is doing quite well. Chaeto is going nuts, Mangroves are growing, and Fiji Mud is not stirring up like it once was. My RO Skimmer with the new Bubble Blaster pump pulls tons of organics out, and keeps the water crystal clear!

I'll shoot some new FTS with the halides still there, and some once the new ATI light is setup. Side by side should be pretty cool. I have a few other lamps I will play with if I don't like the color combo.
